| (Carleton Place) – Tomahawk Technologies Inc. continues to do it’s part to foster young minds and encourage those interested in pursuing a career in the fast-paced IT industry. Tomahawk is a privately held and profitable high-tech firm that creates enterprise web solutions for companies across North America and is active in local events, charities and organizations. The firm is pleased to announce that a new co-operative education student has joined the Tomahawk team. David Leal, of Notre Dame Catholic High School in Carleton Place, began his placement with the firm at the beginning of February. “He’s (Leal) completing Grade 12 and looking to get into a career in multi-media,” explains Tomahawk VP of Business Operations Michael Freeman, adding the firm has had several co-op students over the years. “We simply enjoy helping out local students,” adds Freeman. “It’s also nice to get some new ideas.
