| (Carleton Place) - On Wednesday June 23 2004, Kia Mousavi and Joan Batucan, both Business Development representatives from Tomahawk Technologies, attended the recent annual Ontario Association of College and University Security Administrators (OACUSA) conference at the Westin Hotel in downtown Ottawa. Tomahawk Technologies was given an opportunity to present ParkAdmin, the completely integrated, secure, web-enabled parking and security management system that they implemented for Carleton University 3 years ago. The ParkAdmin system has been so successful for Len Boudreault and Brian Billings, of the Security Department at Carleton University that they wanted to share with their fellow Security Officers across Ontario the secret to their success. At 11:00 am on June 23, 2004, Kia Mousavi began presenting the benefits and features of the ParkAdmin system to the roundtable of 20+ officers. The officers were very receptive and enthusiastic as was evidenced by their many questions. To add credence to the system, Brian Beatson, the Director of Facilities Management at Durham College gave an unsolicited testimonial on how well ParkAdmin has done for their institution and how it blew away the competitors' systems. After the presentation, about 10 officers from different institutions came up to Kia and Joan to ask further questions and request future discussions. In addition to being guest speakers, Tomahawk Technologies also sponsored the luncheon that followed after the ParkAdmin presentation. |
